Today I had the opportunity to pitch a 3D animated children's show I had been ideating throughout the Summer holidays to TVNZ's Digital Children's Content Commissioner Amie Mills. It was a very exciting and nerve wracking experience that I very much enjoyed doing.
Myself and several of my peers were given three minutes each to pitch our ideas to Amie. At first this didn't seem like enough time to me but then I realised that in real life you may only have small opportunities to pitch to important people whom don't have very much time to spare.
My pitch went really well and I was extremely happy with the amount of information I was able to relay in such a short amount of time. I will be waiting to hear feedback from Amie and my tutors and whether or not it will get the green light. Fingers crossed.
